THE NORMANS                 

It was just a normal day I was out feeding the animals, when suddenly the soldiers on the gatehouse started shouting ‘there here, they have come ‘I didn’t know what to do I ran back to the castle and we all had to hide in the keep. Everyone was silent, silent with the fear, The only sound was something banging it must       have been the battering ram Trying to knock down the door! I was so afraid, there was then some screams, after that .                                                                                                            

I must have fallen asleep because I woke up and everyone was asleep. I got up and climbed down from the keep I looked over the wall and there were dead soldiers and Vikings lying there. We must have beaten the Vikings !!

After that it was very hard we didnt have as much food because are crops had been trampled on ! but we got by without as much food . i hope the vikings don t come back !!!
