A Love Poem |
|
Everyday I feel it, Growing inside of me, Is it something fatal? Sometimes love can be. Everyday I see her, Walking right past me, Thinking to myself, "Please notice me!" Gelled my hair, changed my look, Changed everything, Every Cranny, Every Nook. I want to shout from mountain high! Or scream it in the deep, "I love you!" I'd say, longing for you I weep. From the heavens you were born, to end my lonely sorrow, To come and comfort me, And help me see tomorrow. That's it, today, I'll tell her how I feel, I'll say it loud, I'll say it proud, I'll tell her how I feel. So that morning, I went up to her today, and whispered in her ear, "I have something to tell you, like you not may." She listened intently as I told her how, How I loved her I had to say, She looked at me and said, "I'm glad you feel the same way."
