         Ollie Smith!!!!

Ollie plays the drums in his own band!!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ollie Smith was born on 14th August 1982!! He started playing junior rugby with old Bosworthians and then switched Market Bosworth at u14 level. He joined the Leicester Tigers in 1999 after attending a trial. He then became the youngest Tiger player to play in a league game. In 2002 after winning the Heineken Cup he was the only teenager to hold a Heineken Cup winners medal. 

Ollie played for England u18, u19 and u21 levels before getting his senior debut in the six nations against Italy in Twickenham as a replacement in March 2003. He then made in onto Sir Clive Woodward's world cup squad in the summer of 2003. He then started the following season against France in Marseilles.

After that season Ollie after receiving an injury earned a nomination for Young Player of the Season 2002/2003 by the Professional Rugby Players Association. 

Ollie fought his way back onto the team after an amazing performance for England A against France A. He then got chosen to tour with the British and Irish Lions party to New Zealand.
