Leinster Rugby

Leinster are currently the best Irish team to watch. With Felipe Conteponi pulling the string at out-half and Brian O'Driscoll at centre they have a team which can unlock any defence. They are definately a team that can win the Heinkein Cup

Munster Rugby

Munster have a powerful pack but have lacked the backline to achieve success in Heinekein Cup. However with backs like Barry Murphy playing as well as they are this is there best chance in a long while.     

Connacht Rugby

Connacht are the least known of the Irish teams. Although they are not as good as the other sides they usually do well in the European Challenge Cup. They also usually finish in a respectable position in the Celtic League just beyond the other Irish sides

Ulster rugby

Ulster are the only Irish team who have won the Heinekein Cup. However since that great day in 1999 they have fallen from their throne. Even though they are still a good side with players like David Humphries and Andrew Trimble they lack the depth to achieve the success they did in 1999. However they always give a good account of themselves in the Heinekein Cup and the Celtic League were they usually finish near the top of the league.
